I am the Creative Director of My Party Queen. I started the company about three years ago. I studied Fashion Journalism and Multimedia Communications but after graduating I struggled to get a job in my field. I lived in California and eventually decided to move back home to Michigan where I began working in sales. After being laid off from my sales job one year into the business, I never went back to work. I run and operate My Party Queen full time. Recently, I opened MPQ Studio which is an intimate event space and my office. Although, I wasn’t able to find a job in my field, I started a business that allows me to utilize the skills that I’ve gained while exploring my passion.
