On my entrepreneurial journey, I have encountered many other women entrepreneurs working hard to develop and grow their businesses, who have encountered some of the same issues that I have. While many have experienced challenges stemming from financial sustainability and brand promotion, others also combat ageism and inclusivity. Having met and worked with many of these dynamic entrepreneurs, I was motivated to launch Art of Preneur.
Finding capital and gaining exposure are two of the primary challenges that female founders face. According to January 2019 article from Fortune Magazine, only 2.2% of venture capital funding went to women in 2018. These types of staggering statistics don’t have to be a continuing reality. With Art of Preneur, my goal is to build the largest directory of women entrepreneurs and connect them to a network of investors and journalists.
Together, I know we can make it happen.
Let’s do this!
